Diary 2012 – Week 11
I had a six mile walk on Darwen Moor this afternoon with Brett, Molly and Sam. Our walk took us via Hollinshead Hall and the Witton Weavers Way in a clockwise circular route.
Diary 2011 – Week 22
I went for a short walk today with my friend JohnB that turned out to be a very pleasant and sunny stroll around a little bit of countryside I hadn’t seen before.
Roddlesworth and Tockholes Woodlands
This was only a three miles walk but I had not been in these woods for several months and it was such a lovely sunny afternoon I thought it was about time for another woodland stroll.
Wet Walk to Hollinshead Hall
I hadn’t been to the woods near the village of Tockholes for some months, so I decided it was about time to remedy things. Unfortunately I choose a rather wet afternoon, just as well I had my waterproofs with me.
