First Snow of Winter
We had our first snowfall of the winter today, so I took the dogs out for what would be Molly's first experience of such conditions. Having parked the car not far from Rivington Hall we spent the afternoon wandering through woods and across fields.
In spite of having planty of snow to play in, Brett, Molly ans sam still enjoyed a little tine splashing in this stream.
It wasn't long though before Brett and Molly started digging sticks out of the snow for me to throw. Sam wasn't far away conducting his won search.
On our way through some woods I spotted these sheep in a neighbouring field below Rivington Terraced Gardens.
Again, it didn't take long for the dogs to find some more sticks to play with.
And here's a short video of some of the larking about that went on. ![]()

Looks like you had a good day playing in the snow. I can't wait for it to snow here so I can go walking in it. Molly seems to be adjusting very well.
Malcolm reminds me of the one and only time we had snow in Johannesburg in ten years ,dogs stood and looked at the garden being all white and then gingerly crept out side and then started whizzing around in it..great fun
